Upleveled in London

In Year three we have been re-writing the story Katie in London. Adding in our new characters and using our descriptive language.

One summer day Katie, Jack and Grandma went on a red, pretty bus to London. Grandma fell asleep so she said to Katie and Jack to stay close. Then they met a statue then suddenly it came to life. The statue is beautiful and sweet. The statue is a leopard.
“Do you mind?” the cheetah exclaimed grumpily. Katie explained that she was just doing what she was told so the cheetah said “ I will take you to see the sights of London!”
Carefully, the small cheetah took the tiny children to sdee the wonderful shard and they thought it was amazing. They went to St. Pauls Cathedral, which Jack thought was incredible, before having lunch.
After lunch the incredible cheetah took the minute children to see Buckingham Palace with all the changing guards.

One day there were two children called Katie and Jack. They were going to London with their Grandma. They went on a bus. When they got there Grandma was sleepy so she said to the children you two go and stay by that Zebra. So Katie and Jack went to climb the Zebra. Suddenly the sun rose upon the Zebra and the Zebra came to life. The two children were flabbergasted.
The Zebra said “Do you mind?” in an angry voice. Jack said “We are so sorry our Grandma told us to stay by you while she has a long nap!” Then Katie said “Please can you take us to see all the sights of London?” and the Zebra said “Well of course, Let’s go!” in an exciting voice.
So off they went to see the London eye and the Zebra said “Why don’t we go and see the queen!” very excitedly.

Katie Jack and Grandma got on a huge, beautiful, red and pink bus to London. After that they went to Trafalgar square but Grandma went to sleep on a long brown bench. Then Katie and Jack found a frog statue and climbed on it really slowly. The sun shone up and the frog statue turned golden.
After the frog statue turned golden he came to life and he said “Do you mind?” The statue frog said to Katie and Jack “Why are you on me?”
“Because Grandma said for us to stay with you.”
“Ok you can stay with me.”
“Can we go and see the sights?”
“We can.” So the frog took them to the wonderful shard first.
“Let’s go on the London eye!” Said Katie and Jack together “Yes it’s incredible”
“Why?” Said the frog.
“Because it is going to be awesome!”
After that Katie and Jack got very dizzy and then they went to Buckingham Palace.
